Credevo Pte. Ltd., Singapore ("us", "we", or "our") operates http://www.Credevo.com (the "Site"). Any person or entity accessing, browsing, shall be considered as “Visitor” and using the site and services shall be considered a "User" and is bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

At Credevo the privacy and security of our users are of paramount importance. Credevo is committed to protecting the data you share with us. Read our Privacy Policy to understand our commitment to your privacy and learn what information we may collect about you, how we use your information, how we protect it and what choices you have on how that information is used.

  1. Collection and Use of data

    1. What we collect

      While using our Site,

      We may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, your profession, qualification, address, email address, telephone number, company name, questionnaire data, and payment information.

      We also collect information about the services you use and how you use them, which may include collecting information such as your Credevo system preferences, server logs, network connections, and IP addresses. We may use various technologies to automatically collect and store information when you use a Credevo service, and this may include sending one or more cookies or other anonymous identifiers to your device. We may collect anonymous information sent by your browser when you visit our websites, including IP address, operating system, and browser version. If you identify yourself by filling out a form, some data (such as what pages you view on our websites) will be connected to your personal information.

      You will get an option to opt in to our email newsletter, subscriptions. Additionally, you will also be subscribed to receive our newsletter if you sign up on Credevo, respond to our request for feasibility sent through email, or submit your email on our blogs or other pages. If you’re not interested to receive our newsletter, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.

      If you open or click a link in an email we have sent you for requesting clinical trial feasibility or in response to your subscription, or filling out a form, including email newsletter, that information will be connected to your details with us. We may do this to either verify your email address to prevent spam and misuse, or to follow up on the usefulness of our email marketing.

      If you are a User, Customer, Subscriber or a partner of ours, we may use your contact information to send you product or services updates and information that is relevant to your use of the products and services.

      Information we and partners collect when you browse our website

      1. On our websites, we include a number of scripts from third-party vendors. These scripts may gather data for web statistics (such as google analytics, hubspot, facebook), payment processing (stripe, paypal) and may offer additional functionality to the web site (such as chat, e.g. tawk.to)
      2. The websites and third-party scripts may use cookies or local storage. Cookies and local storage can be used to identify a returning visitor. Cookies and local storage in themselves to not identify you as an individual – but if you for instance are using Facebook, and subsequently visit our websites, Facebook may learn about your visit.
      3. We cannot tell who you are unless you willingly identify yourself on our websites.
      4. If you at some point have identified yourself by filling out a form on our websites, pages you view on our websites may be connected to your personal information. We do this to understand the effectiveness of our website.
      5. Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site ("Log Data"). These logs are essentially logs from each request to Credevo application, blogs, or other pages. These logs may include information such as the web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser related information, referring / exit pages and URLs, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and other such information. Credevo collects such log either directly or utilizes other vendors to collect such information.
      6. For certain parts of our websites, for instance pages that require a login, cookies are required for the website to work properly. Otherwise, cookies are generally not required for the operation of the website. Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's hard drive.
      7. We may set a cookie and use local storage in your browser that contains information that we use to identify you between visits. In particular, we may set an identifier that identifies you for the functional site features described below.


      Required site features – vendors that may collect Personal Data on our behalf:

      1. Tawk.to: We use ‘Tawk.to’ to provide a website chat box and to allow you to chat with our credevo team. As part of your conversation with the chat box, you may enter personal information such as your email address, and any other required details. This information is stored by Tawk.to, and automatically transferred to us to enable the discussion with you and to notify a Credevo personnel. Read Tawk.to’s privacy policy here.
      2. Stripe and Paypal: We use ‘Stripe’ or ‘Paypal’ to manage payment processing on our websites. As part of these services, your email address, credit / debit card details, browser related info and IP addresses may be collected by Stripe or Paypal, depending upon your selected mode of payment.       3. Hubspot: We use ‘hubspot’ to collect the information on form submissions on our website. Credevo also uses Hubspot for marketing purposes enabling us to tailor content and how we communicate with site visitors and subscribers. The cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. In order to facilitate providing such services, hubspot may get access to data that you submit through Credevo.       4. Sucuri: We use ‘Sucuri’ to provide security to our website against malicious software attacks, computer viruses and other hacking efforts. In order to provide such protections to our users and visitors to website, Sucuri may get access to users’ data. Read Sucuri’s privacy policy here.


      Functional site features – vendors that may collect anonymous data on our behalf:

      1. Google Analytics: We use ‘Google Analytics’ to analyze the performance of our websites and follow up on the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Google Analytics allow us to analyze data in aggregate, we do not collect or store any personal information in Google Analytics. Read Google’s privacy policy here.


      You consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personally identifiable user information pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

    2. Why we collect information

      We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. By visiting this website, you consent to the collection and use of your Personal Data as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms set out herein, please do not visit this website.

      We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve all credevo Services, including free and premium services. We may use the information to compile data to, for example, provide more tailored search results and to better connect you and other users. If you don't want to be in our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by updating your preferences. We may use your personal information to send important notices such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms and policies.

      Credevo may also share such information with service vendors or contractors in order to provide, maintain, protect, and improve all Credevo Services. We may also collect information to prevent and detect crime, fraud or corruption.

  2. Data Controller and Processor

    The Credevo entity which you as a User entered an agreement with when using Credevo’s website, will be the controller for user data, as outlined above in “Collection and use of data” section.

    Credevo processes collected data in order to provide service for users. For some situations, Credevo may use other vendors, who act as data processor in such situations. These vendors have been described above and may include Paypal, Google analytics, Stripe, Tawk.to, Sucuri and Hubspot. In all such situations, where they become the data processors, credevo will not be a data processor and vendor’s Privacy Policy comes into consideration. We suggest you to see the respective privacy policy of those vendors.

    For situations not involving these vendors, Credevo may act as data processor as well as a Controller, as defined in the Directive and the GDPR.

    1. Data Controller

      Credevo adheres to the Directive of 1995 and the GDPR from May 25th, 2018 and serves as data controller of user data.

    2. Data Processor

      For Users who visit, or and use Credevo services located in European Data Region, in some situations, credevo acts as a Data Processor and all processing of Personal Data is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the latest EU Directive “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679”.

      Credevo has adopted reasonable safeguards against accidental, unauthorized or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, access, use or processing of the Users data in Credevo’s possession. Credevo will promptly notify the User in the event of any known unauthorized access to, or use of, the User’s data.

      Credevo also shares data with other vendors, who may act as data processor in some situations as described in above sections.

    3. Information shared with vendors and service providers

      We hold our vendors and service providers to the same high privacy standards as we hold ourselves to. In all cases where we share your information with anyone outside of the Credevo, we highly recommend you to go through their privacy policy and review to your satisfaction.

  3. Data Protection

    1. Our Legal Obligation to Disclose Personal Information

      We will reveal a user’s personal information without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required to establish the identity of, to contact or to initiate legal proceedings against a person or persons, who are suspected of infringing rights or property belonging to Credevo or to others who could be harmed by the user’s activities or of persons who could (deliberately or otherwise) transgress upon these rights and property. We are permitted to disclose personal information when we have good reason to believe that this is legally required.

    2. Security

      The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

      Credevo may disclose your personal information if necessary by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

      Subject to the exceptions referred to in section 21(2) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”), you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please send an email to helpdesk@credevo.com. We may make a small charge for this service.

      If you are a user from EU region, or Citizen of EU using our services from other region (Considered only when EU directive “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679” applies to you), and wish to inquire about your Personal Data that may have been collected in Credevo, we recommend that you contact us at helpdesk@credevo.com, and you may have every right to know the information of you collected by Credevo website.

  4. Data Storage

    If you are no longer a Credevo User, Customer or Visitor

    1. If you have opted into any of our content marketing initiatives or have opted in to our Subscriptions, your personal information will be kept for us long as you seem to be an active subscriber.
    2. If we haven’t seen any activity on your part for 12 months, we may remove your personal information or anonymize it.
    3. If you have been in touch with us with a question, feasibility request / response, asked for a quote, or have engaged with a sales representative, your information may be stored for up to 12 months after the last recorded activity, and may then be removed or anonymized.
  5. Your rights to your data

    1. How to get your data at Credevo

      If you are a Visitor or User from EU region (Resident), or Citizen of EU using our services from other region (Considered only when “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679” applies to you), you’d like to get your Personal Data that may have been collected in Credevo, please contact us at helpdesk@credevo.com.

      Subject to the exceptions referred to in section 21(2) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”), you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.     2. How to update or delete your data at Credevo upon request

      We want to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your email address, name or payment details, or if you wish to cancel your registration, please let us know the correct details by sending an email to helpdesk@credevo.com.

      If you have submitted a valid GDPR data subject access request to exercise your right (Considered only when “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679” applies to you) to be forgotten we will delete your data within 30 days of the request. To submit such request, you can either utilize any given method on our pages or contact us at helpdesk@credevo.com.

    3. Deletion or removal of data

      During subscription, sign up or a User’s registration on Credevo, User provides information such as name, company name, email, address, telephone, credit-card number and other relevant data. This information is used by Credevo to identify the User and provide them with support, services, mailings, sales and marketing actions, billing and to meet contractual obligations.

      Credevo Users can at any time request to access and edit, update or delete their contact details on Credevo.

      We use stripe and Paypal as our billing gateway. When subscribing a project, the credit card /debit card information will only be stored on stripe's database or Paypal’ database, but never on our own database. Personal Information like name, email, VAT number will be stored both on stripe / Paypal and Credevo.

      Although Google Analytics (GA) records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant us access to this. GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website.

      Credevo websites tracks current visitors through the Tawk dashboard (see https://www.tawk.to). Tawk is the chat tool used by Credevo to interact with the people visiting either their website or any Credevo instance. Credevo does not keep track of any history of connections nor visited pages using Tawk dashboard. Only current users are visible and no information is kept by Credevo once they stop visiting our website.

      Credevo will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.

      Your choices and rights

      1. You can choose to opt out of marketing communications at any time, regardless if you are a customer, user, visitor or none of the above.
      2. If you are an individual based in the EU (Considered only when “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679” applies to you), you can request a copy of your personal information and you can update any incorrect information.
      3. If you are an individual based in the EU (Considered only when “The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679” applies to you), you can ask to have your personal information removed, or in some cases limit our processing of personal information. This does not apply when we need to keep your information for legal reasons.
      4. Objecting to how we may use your information: You have the right at any time to require us to stop using your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. In addition, where we use your Personal Data to perform tasks carried out in the public interest then, if you ask us to, we will stop using that Personal Data unless there are overriding legitimate grounds to continue.
      5. Restricting how we may use your information: In some cases, you may ask us to restrict how we use your Personal Data. This right might apply, for example, where we are checking the accuracy of Personal Data about you that we hold or assessing the validity of any objection you have made to our use of your information. The right might also apply where this is no longer a basis for using your Personal Data but you don't want us to delete the data. Where this right to validly exercised, we may only use the relevant Personal Data with your consent, for legal claims or where there are other public interest grounds to do so.
      6. Withdrawing consent using your information: Where we use your Personal Data with your consent you may withdraw that consent at any time and we will stop using your Personal Data for the purpose(s) for which consent was given.

  6. Acceptance of these Conditions

    It is understood that all Visitors and Users of our website and users of Credevo application have carefully read this document and agree to its contents. If someone does not agree with this privacy policy, they should refrain from using our website and platform. If you're already a user of Credevo and do not agree with this privacy policy, then you can ask us to delete your information as per section 5.b of this policy. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy as necessity dictates. Continued use of Credevo website and platform implies acceptance of the revised privacy policy. This privacy policy is an integral part of Credevo’s terms of use.

    Credevo may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Site. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
