Some medications and topical irritants are also known to cause Rosacea.<\/li><li>Skin damage due to sun, smoking are some of the other risk factors<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosacea normally occurs in any age group but most in middle-aged women having fair skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Rosacea is Diagnosed?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Simple visual inspection by a trained healthcare professional is sufficient for diagnosis of Rosacea and no test is known.<\/li><li>People with mild redness Rosacea are never formally diagnosed or treated. When the signs are not prominent then treatment trials are used for confirming the diagnosis.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treatment for Rosacea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no cure for Rosacea. Signs &amp; symptoms can be controlled by treatment, generally, with some of the antibiotics as oral &amp; in form of creams, eye drops if eyes are effected and laser surgery in some cases, remission is common in Rosacea<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The treatments are generally measured as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reduction in facial redness &amp; inflammatory lesions,<\/li><li>Number, duration, and intensity of flares<\/li><li>The decrease in symptoms of itching, burning &amp; tenderness of the skin<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Avoiding sunlight exposure is recommended, using sunscreen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the medication show improvements and are included in the treatment line such as Ivermectin, Azelaic acid creams, Brimonidine, Doxycycline, and Isotretinoin by mouth. Each category of the drug have their own typical mechanism in reducing symptoms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laser surgery is also used in some conditions that damage the capillary walls and make them absorbed by the body\u2019s natural defense mechanism.
